National Scrapbooking Day 2015 - join us for fun, prizes and inspiration!

Please join us for Aunty Vera's Annual National Scrapbooking Day. Our designers Amira, Leanne & Sarah have posted their scrapbooking sketch challenges and will be revealing their layouts tomorrow (Saturday).  Join us on our facebook group - Crafty Vera and Friends to celebrate this auspicious occasion and to get .. ..well......scrapbooking!!!
Each challenge is open to everyone, and everyone who enters will go into a draw to win a prize. That's 3 chances to win!!! The challenges are open until Sunday 10th May, so you have a week to post your creation. And yes - you may enter all 3 challenges if you wish :)
Not on facebook and still want to play? Easy! Simply email us a picture attachment of your layout to info@auntyverascrapandcraft.com.au (write CHALLENGE 1, 2, or 3 in the subject line) and we'll post your entry on our facebook group on your behalf, as well as here on the blog.

Ok - the fun stuff!
Here are our Design Team Challenge Sketches.......
Amira:
"Hello and welcome to Team Amira's Challenge for National Scrapbooking Day. I have chosen a scrapbooking layout sketch and am now challenging you to produce a 12" x 12" layout inspired by this sketch. You can use ANY paper collection you have. Ready - set- SCRAPI will have my reveal to show you on Saturday."

Leanne:
"To celebrate National Scrapbooking Day this Saturday the challenge is on. Join TEAM LEANNE for Aunty Vera's Annual Challenge and put together a 12"x 12" scrapbooking layout based on the template below. You choose the paper but please include 3 embellishments in a row (like the butterflies) and have a special element in the top right corner. Have fun, it's going to be scraptastic! Don't forget there is a prize draw for everyone who enters!Go TEAM LEANNE!!!"

Sarah:
"Hi everyone. Here is Team Sarah's challenge for National Scrapbooking Day. My challenge is to create a pocket-page scrapbooking layout using the sketch below. However, the twist is that you must use a 12x12" sheet of card stock cut down to the appropriate pocket sizes as your background - no pre-cut cards allowed! This means that those of you who haven't tried pocket-page scrapbooking can give it a go without needing any extra supplies. Feel free to interpret the sketch to suit the style of pocket-page sleeves you may have, or if you don't have any sleeves give it a go without them! A grid-style page on a backing sheet would look fabulous. Get those creative juices flowing!"

I'll be revealing the 3 great prizes a little later today, and our design team will be revealing their layouts tomorrow. Hoping to see lots of fabulous layouts and projects. And remember - there is no right and wrong in scrapbooking. So please give it a go and join in the fun.

Happy scrapping!
Aunty Vera :)
