November Kit Flashback - Donna's Recycled Can

Hello Crafty Friends!
Do you remember our fabulous November Kit?
Donna has a Flashback project for us today...... take a boring old Pringles chip can and upcycle it into something absolutely gorgeous!

Hi all
My second Project for November is an actual recycled Pringles can.. I really enjoyed creating this. Of course I had to umm eat the chips inside so I could make it ummm .

Love Love Gesso

Wrapping some of the gorgeous kit paper around the can.

Using the gel medium I adhered pieces of cotton doilies around the can. Added two borders from the sticker sheet (top and bottom).

Love this stencil so I created a textured feel to the can with gesso.

After spritizing the textured areas with Gold Glimmer mist I gently rubbed over them with Inka Gold with my fingers. I added a piece of hessian and whitened it a fraction with a splash of watered gesso.

Once all dry add all your elements to finish ..  And if you are wondering what to place in the can why handmade biccies of course.

Did you notice I made loops of ribbon with finely cut paper from the kit.

Dont forget to ink around the cardstock to give extra dimension to the project.

A Month of Christmas Craft 2017 ~ Rianna's Pop-Up Box Cards

Hello Crafty Friends!
We have just one more Christmas project for 2017...... Rianna's Pop-Up Box Cards. Oh my goodness they are so cute! What a great way to end our month of Christmas Crafting!!
I hope you've found inspiration, perhaps tried out some of our December projects, and maybe pinned some for future Christmases ;)

Hi everyone,

Rianna on the blog here today for Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft's awesome Christmas craft month! 🎄 I have here today two very cute cards to show you all.

I absolutely LOVE creating pop-up box cards, they are one of my favourite types of card to make.

First I created this card with a cute Santa popping up from out of the chimney. He has a present in one of his hands and some more presents sitting around the edge of the chimney ready to be handed out to the people who have been good this year. 😊

I used Doodlebug Design's 'Dear Santa' 12x12" paper from the Milk and Cookies Collection for this card as well as their Odds and Ends die cuts. I have used some Wink of Stella for Santa's hat and the snow that is on the chimney for some added sparkle. I added some dimension to Santa's eyes and his gloves by using a Sakura Gelly Roll glaze pen in black. The presents are from My Favorite Things 'Happy Pawlidays' stamp set and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn's 'Happy Happy Happy' stamp set.

I just love Santa's sparkly hat! 😄

Let's move on to the second and final card!

I created this card with these two cute furry friends celebrating Christmas together and sitting near the colourful decorated Christmas tree. 😊

I used Doodlebug Design's 'Jolly Gingerbread' 12x12" paper from the Milk and Cookies Collection for this card as well as their Odds and Ends die cuts. I have used some Wink of Stella for the dog and cat's Santa hats for some added sparkle. I added some dimension to their eyes and dog's nose by using a Sakura Gelly Roll glaze pen in black and a clear one for the cat's nose. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things 'Happy Pawlidays' stamp set. For the tree I used some Wink of Stella for the star and then went over the star and the baubles with some Glossy Accents.

I hope you all enjoyed my projects for Aunty Vera Scrap and Craft.
Thank you for visiting Aunty Vera's Scrap and Craft blog and please feel free to let me know what you think of these projects in the comments below. 😊

A Month of Christmas Craft 2017 - Donna's Magical Wishing Well

Hello Crafty Friends!
You're going to love Donna's Christmas project today.... a magical wishing well featuring our favourite Carousel Christmas papers......

I have had this wishing well for years and thought this paper from Bo Bunny would be perfect for this project..
The 3D Wishing Well comes in a kit form from Twiddlebitz.
I simply inked around the edges of the well using Victoria Velvet Distress Ink.
You will need strong adhesive to glue this together.

I fussy cut the images out of a 12 x12 piece of cardstock and inked around
all the edges.

I die cut the poinsettias from a Kaiser die and placed these around the well.

Love these three fussy cut banners. I simply used 3D foam tape
to give them some dimension. Can you see the glitter of the Wink of Stella pen
on the heart & bows..

I made 'snow' and placed this thickly on the edges of the roof
and small amounts on other
parts of the well.

I painted Glimmer Glam Paint from Tattered Angels on
to the assorted images to give some shine.

A side view, love this little panel of names of Santa's reindeers..

Look how gorgeous these trees look with the Wishing Well.

Back of the Wishing Well..
The bird is from Habitat.

Finished project..

I hope I have inspired you
to create glorious things..
Hugs

A Month of Christmas Craft - Sarah's Christmas Flip Book

Hello Crafty Friends!
Join Sarah on the blog today for a lovely Christmas themed flip book. What a lovely way to showcase your Christmas memories or a prefect handmade gift full of little pocket surprises!

I made a fun little flip book for a recent Christmas themed swap.

It’s really easy to make but I love all the little pockets and ways it turns. It’s made from a 12x12 inch piece of card stock that is cut and folded into a 4x6 inch booklet.

I used Kaisercraft’s ‘Basecoat Christmas’ captured moments cards as decoration and to create various pockets.

Thank you for joining me today and Merry Christmas
xx Sarah xx
