NSD 2018: Sarah's Technique Share: Watercolour Resist Tags

Hello Crafty Friends!
How are you all going with our NSD Challenges?
Today Sarah shares one of the techniques she used in her multi-technique pocket layout..... watercolour resist.
But beware!.... this can become quite addictive!!

Hi Friends! I hope you're all having fun with this month's challenges. I'm here today to share one of the techniques I used in my pocket page layout; the watercolour resist. For this technique you simply clear emboss a stamp onto card and then watercolour over the top.

You can use distress inks like I did on this tag here.

Or if you want to use more traditional watercolours, you can use a watercolour set like the Prima Confections I used below.

If you want super vibrant colours you can't go past the Ken Oliver Color Bursts like this beautiful rouge colour found in the may kit.

I love this technique because depending on the colour choice, stamp design and medium, you can get so many different results. Here are the three tags I made - but you could also use this technique on cards, art journaling pages, or in scrapbooking layouts.

See the full tutorial for this technique HERE
